Transformation 2

Chip Kid

I found Chip Kid to be a very intelligent individual. I liked the fact that he was humble enough to show his failed attempts at success to a room of judgmental undergrads. I think I will take a look at his book The Cheese Monkeys this summer. I think this would be the best time in my life to have a go at it considering the content.

Banksy is a British artist who does stencil work in the streets all over the world. (mostly in the uk) Usually the work is a protest against the government or some moral indecency. The interesting thing about Banksy is that he, she, or they can cover an entire wall with an extremely complex stencil in the middle of a busy street and no one knows who they are. Only Banksy's manager knows. Through his manager Banksy holds shows and reaches out to the public.

Response to Memoir

It is easy to define the world around you. To define oneself is another entirety. Few can be clear as well as honest in an autobiographical sense. I think this was an interesting exercise in dealing with the mirrored visage.

In response to Jilles Links

verysmallobjects.com really confused me as to its point.

OSXdaily.com was an amazing find on jilles part. I love my mac :)

1000journals.com was really graphically entertaining. Some of the layouts were quite beautiful for none artists.

State your existance!

mem⋅oir
   /ˈmɛmwɑr, -wɔr/ [mem-wahr, -wawr]
–noun

1. a record of events written by a person having intimate knowledge of them and based on personal observation.

For this project we were given the responsibility of writing a six word memoir. Who are we? What are we? I believe that the definition of any single person should not be from within their lifetime, but from what difference they make after they are gone.
